Welcome to The Disruptor’s Seat—the stage reserved for the provocateurs, artistic instigators, and those brazen enough to tear the pretty veneer off the industry. Forget polite chatter or predictable paths; here, raw truth reigns, and ordinary is banished.
We’re diving deep with the creatives who refuse to behave: photographers who shatter the lens, floral artists who coax poetry from chaos, and makers who torch tired traditions to craft something fiercely their own. These aren’t interviews—they’re declarations of intent. Raw dialogues for those who won’t dim their fire, silence their voice, or compromise their artistry.
Pull up. Listen close. This is disruption, uncensored.
Tatiana is a creative powerhouse—the kind who casually masters everything she touches. Lettering artist, photographer, tattooist, designer, creator, mom; there’s no limit to her artistry (or her brilliance). I stumbled across her magic about four years ago scrolling Pinterest, instantly hooked and secretly wishing we’d collide creatively someday. Fast forward to today, and now our paths regularly intertwine, collaborating on juicy branding and web projects. Life’s poetic like that.
Let’s deep dive into her creative life!
That moment was when I decided to leave my full time job and go out on my own. It was so scary but soo exciting at the same time. I remember I had been thinking about taking the leap for a while. I took a trip to Sedona with my husband and I remember standing on this rock asking for guidance and literally feeling a humming. Right then I knew it was time.
Honestly hard to say! I love creating with different mediums, regular pen and paper, Ipad, computer, a camera, my phone… all the things. There is no one way that I do things and I think that’s why it always feels fresh and interesting and never boring!
I honestly try not to consume too much, it’s hard with instagram stories because you never know what might pop up that will trigger you. I try to control what I can and focus on my local city.
I think I’ve done a good job ignoring the idea that you have to be just ONE thing. I pride myself in being an all around creative and not letting the idea of traditional career paths hold me back. So it’s a little hard to describe what I do… That’s ok!!
I find it so empowering that we live in a time where you can come up with an idea and execute it all on your own. We have so many resources right at our fingertips and don’t need permission from anyone!
The sunshine FOR SURE. A walk in nature always gives me the BEST ideas. When I don’t think too hard about something, the ideas just flow. I also love a good brainstorming session with my sister. A fellow creative can be such an amazing resource for flushing out and refining ideas.
I would tell them GOOD!! That is what is going to make you stand out. You have to be different to make your mark. It’s all about learning to tell your story and how you present yourself to the world.
For me personally I think social media should be used more than just a “living portfolio”. Creatives so often fall into the trap of just sharing finished projects. I think creatives should use their platform to share, inform, educate, delight… whatever you feel called to do – make it more you less your work.
People can love your work but they are going to choose to work with you because they like YOU (and your work of course, but the YOU is first).
Creating pretty things and inspiring others is the number one goal I have in mind in anything that I create!
